T for Transition

A service designed to introduce your team in a very easy way to the “different thinking” that is at the heart of the Transition Engineering approach – learning from the advice of Albert Einstein that “you can’t solve a problem with the same way of thinking that caused the problem”.

It’s a very informal one-day workshop designed on the premise of a meeting in somebody’s kitchen with a cuppa and cake and an interest in finding out and exploring Transition Engineering and how it can help your organisation. We’ll address all the steps of Transition Engineering in relation to your organisation and answer all the questions raised by your team. Along the way well run a worked example of all or part of the system of your organisation, as chosen by the group, so you’ll see a real result at the end of one day.

You would benefit from this service when you want to share with your colleagues the innovative Transition Engineering approach without you having to explain it… maybe when you’ve seen for yourself how useful Transition Engineering can be, and when you want your colleagues to share the experience and prepare to help the organisation.

You can do this any time that suits you and your team. It needs a whole day with your team available all day (with no interruptions).

The workshop can take place on your site, if you have a space, or offsite. We need enough space for your team to work in a big room, with space for flipcharts and a big table to sit round. You will provide lunch, and most importantly plenty of tea, coffee and cake for all participants. I will travel to join you.

Ideally this should include all of your team who have an interest in directing the strategic trajectory of the organisation, and who have the power to implement any changes. Nobody should be excluded from the initial meeting whose input will be needed later.
